Remarks: "It is not only the insight into the longings and frustrations of human desire, but also the extraordinary skill in giving these insights sonic expression that leaves one speechless when listening to the Leonkoro Quartet." FAZ Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, January 2022.

The masterclass for string quartets and string ensembles with the Leonkoro Quartet is aimed at music students who wish to work on their technique, interpretation, and musical skills, as well as music students who aspire to professional studies. Applicants must already be playing in an existing ensemble.

The multifaceted festival, with its motto "Playing Spaces," unites charismatic musicians who create musical spaces through their vibrant communication, shared artistic values, and tireless spirit of discovery. The Leonkoro Quartet aims to pass on this enthusiasm to the participants, inspiring their creativity and encouraging the development of individual playing spaces.

Füssen is considered the "cradle" of European lute and violin making. The festival "vielsaitig" (multifaceted) is based on this historical expertise and features the "Violin Making Meeting Point," which offers the opportunity to talk to renowned instrument makers and get tips on sound adjustments and instrument care. The violin makers will be showcasing a selection of their new instruments at the Füssen City Museum and extend a warm invitation to you.

Masterclass participants have free admission to the "vielsaitig" festival concerts, if possible in the concert hall, or possibly in the listening area of the adjacent room. The concert program can be accessed via the QR code on the back.

Registration: Please register as soon as possible. As the number of participants is limited, it may not be possible to accept all applications. The instructors will decide on participation. Applicants will be notified immediately. Upon receiving confirmation, course fees are due.

A limited number of free accommodations are available with private hosts. Please contact the Cultural Office for information.
