Remarks:

The YCM Academy is aimed at advanced young musicians aged 12 and up who want to spend a week intensively making music together and growing as a group.

Individual applications for violin, viola, cello, and piano are welcome. We will form selected applicants into ensembles. Existing ensembles are also welcome to apply together.

The Academy's focus is on chamber music:

In your ensemble, you will work daily with our chamber music instructors, who will share their wealth of experience and passion for chamber music with you. Individual lessons, chamber orchestra or octet, and daily concerts complement the intensive ensemble work.
